This is the most fantastic place to stay. Christine cooks the most delicious food, Jean-Francois looks after you beautifully, the bedrooms are rustic but incredibly charming and being located up a steep valley, you totally escape from the real world! We have visited twice, both for our honeymoon and secondly with our whole family, where we took over all 4 bedrooms. Both times the service was fantastic and we had so much fun. There is masses to do in the area - we went para gliding, spent a day in Annecy which is the Venice of France, bicycled down the mountain at La Clusaz and shopped in Le Grand Bornand. Chalet des troncs is a hidden gem!
