Mont Blanc sparkling wine: La Cave du vin blanc de Morgex et de La Salle

High quality sparkling wines in the Mont Blanc area in Aosta Valley. The unique grape variety Prié Blanc Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle grows until 1200 meters of elevation in the unique Mont Blanc terroir, the highest mountain of western Europe.
The Cave du vin Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle produces each year 150,000 bottles of high quality wine and some “spumanti”, sparkling wines méthode champenoise or “metodo classico” as called in Italy.
The “Vallée d’Aoste Doc - Blanc de Morgex et de la Salle Brut 2004″ received the silver medal at the IV° “Effervescents du Monde 2006″. This sparkling wine has a bouquet of fruits and white flowers and a light and fresh creamy taste. A good choice for the traditional cooking and food of Mont Blanc valleys.
The Extra Brut version of this wine won the same price the prevous year with his rich sensations of apple, medlar, almond, walnut and resin. Serve it with the traditional ham of Aosta Valley, the ‘Jambon of Bosses’.
